Terms of Service
Last updated: September 9, 2026
These terms describe what Panama Joe Travel does — and what it deliberately doesn't do. They're written plainly, but they're real terms, and using this website means you accept them.
1. What Panama Joe Travel Is
Panama Joe Travel is a personalized travel concierge service. Joe uses his own experience and trusted local connections to help you plan trips to Panama, Belize, Italy, and South Africa. This website is an introduction and a way to start that conversation — it is not an online booking engine, and no reservations, purchases, or confirmed arrangements are made through this website itself.
2. Inquiries Are Not Bookings
Submitting a travel inquiry starts a conversation — nothing more. It does not create a booking, a reservation, or any confirmed service, price, or availability. Nothing is final until Joe and you discuss it and you explicitly agree to it in conversation (or in writing) with him.
3. Planning and Pricing
All recommendations, itineraries, pricing, and availability are developed personally by Joe based on his knowledge and network, and presented to you before you commit to anything. Quotes are informational until you accept them, and prices can change until an arrangement is actually confirmed by the provider.
4. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Depending on the trip, you may pay hotels, tour operators, guides, or other providers directly, or arrange payment through Joe as agreed with you. When a third party provides a service, that provider's own terms — including their cancellation and refund policies — govern that service. Joe will always encourage you to review and confirm those terms before any payment.
5. Your Responsibilities
As a traveler, you are responsible for your own travel documents (passports, visas, vaccinations), complying with local laws at your destination, and making your own decisions about what's right for you. We strongly recommend travel insurance for any international trip. Ultimately, which experiences you book and take part in is your choice.
6. Recommendations in Good Faith
Joe recommends people and places he knows and trusts, from his own experience and long-standing relationships. Even so, travel is real life: weather changes, services vary, and experiences differ from trip to trip. Recommendations are offered in good faith, and Panama Joe Travel cannot guarantee the outcome of any third-party service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Panama Joe Travel and Joe personally are not liable for losses arising from third-party services, travel disruptions, or your travel decisions. Our role is advice, introductions, and planning support. If something ever goes wrong on a trip, tell Joe — he will do everything he reasonably can to help make it right.
8. Content and Intellectual Property
The content of this website — including the Panama Joe Travel name, logo, and written content — belongs to Panama Joe Travel and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission. Videos shown on this site are hosted by YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook and remain subject to those platforms' terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here and update the date below. The version posted here is the one that applies when you use the site.
